In this key position, you will manage state and federal grants, collaborating with Resource Conservation Districts, public agencies, and landowners. Your efforts will drive the North Bay Forest Improvement Program and the USDA NRCS Regional Conservation Partnership Program, providing vital resources and assistance to private landowners.
Your role will also encompass contributing to fund development and organizational systems as part of a small nonprofit team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complex state and federal grants and budgets
• Coordinate activities with RCDs and partner organizations
• Oversee financial tracking, reporting, and invoicing
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners
• Support new funding opportunities and organizational goals
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years managing state or federal grants
• Preferred experience with CAL FIRE or USDA NRCS programs
• Strong skills in budgeting, reporting, and collaboration
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Commitment to conservation and resilience initiatives
