Wage: $18.50–$20.00 per hour

Job Duties

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Remove garbage and recycling and transport them to designated disposal areas.
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation as required.
• Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties.

Requirements

• No formal education required.
• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
