Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in accordance with standards and in a timely manner
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Maintain consistency of appearance and quality of all menu items
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Communicate between shifts and with supervisors to ensure adequate product levels and consistent food quality
• Be aware of proper stock rotation of all food and help with storage of incoming product
• Wash dishes and sanitize all kitchen equipment

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience a post-secondary certificate is required.

Salary: $20-22 per hour, 40-45 hours per week.

• Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.
• Accommodation provided at a discounted rate.

Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, work under pressure, attention to detail, overtime required.

• The employee will work in shifts of 8-9 hours per day: 12pm-9pm, 5pm-1am.
• Flexibility in schedule is required.
• Nights and weekend hours will be required.
• Overtime may be required based on the business's needs.
