Description:

Candidate is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and food safety requirements. Duties include preparing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining an organized workstation, monitoring food quality, and ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. The Candidate will work closely with other kitchen staff during busy service periods, assist with food preparation and restocking, and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of kitchen or line cook experience required

Valid Food Handler Certification required

Experience preparing and cooking food in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures

Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards

Comfortable using commercial kitchen equipment, knives, grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment

Strong time-management and organizational skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple orders

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
