Environmental Senior Specialist Ontario

Step into a vital role at Next Star Energy as an Environmental Senior Specialist in Windsor, Ontario. You'll manage environmental operations, ensuring compliance and providing technical support in an innovative battery manufacturing environment.

This position is part of the Environment, Health, and Safety Team, where your main focus will be overseeing contractors, maintaining data integrity, and leading incident management. Your leadership will help train junior specialists and enhance our site environmental programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily environmental activities and compliance tracking

• Audit and verify environmental contractor data

• Maintain data integrity for environmental equipment

• Facilitate environmental management of change processes

• Plan and lead sampling activities for diverse environmental media

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field

• At least 5 years' experience in environmental or EHS roles

• Proficient in environmental regulations

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills
