Mechanical Maintenance Professional Salt

Windsor Salt is seeking a Red Seal Millwright to join their skilled team at the Pugwash Mine, Nova Scotia. This role requires solid mechanical skills to ensure equipment reliability through troubleshooting and repair.

As a Millwright, you will face various mechanical challenges daily in a mining setting, applying your expertise to diagnose and fix issues promptly. You will work under a culture of safety, utilizing hoists, tools, and more to maintain vital systems. Your electrical schematics knowledge and detail-oriented nature will enhance the efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot equipment problems autonomously

• Repair motors, valves, and various mechanical systems

• Use hoists and various tools efficiently and safely

• Interpret and execute work orders effectively

• Work scheduled shifts, including weekends as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of experience in the industry

• Proven mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality

• Ability to work within a collaborative team

• Strong commitment to safety and procedural adherence
