Powerline Technician

Position: Powerline Technician ON
Elevate your career with ENWIN Utilities as a Powerline Technician in Windsor, ON. This role encompasses emergency response, maintenance, and construction duties for both overhead and underground utilities.

As a qualified Powerline Technician, you will report to the Supervisor of Hydro Distribution and handle various emergency calls while assisting with inspections and maintenance tasks. The role requires collaboration with teams on projects and should adhere to safety protocols in all tasks. Conducting inspections, operating equipment, and performing repairs as needed are key aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls for repairs and inspections

• Perform maintenance on overhead and underground operations

• Assist with capital construction projects as needed

• Operate equipment while adhering to safety procedures

• Process necessary documentation accurately

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Journeyperson or Apprentice Powerline Technician

• Technical Skills Assessment completion

• Strong knowledge of utility equipment

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments

• Valid Class “A” Ontario Driver’s License with “Z” endorsement
