Position: Vegetable Farm Leadership Role Available

SOUTHSHORE GREENHOUSES INC. seeks an experienced Vegetable Farm Foreman to manage teams and ensure efficient operations at our rural location.

In this permanent, full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of more than 20 general farm workers. Your key tasks will include maintaining bio-security measures, supervising harvesting operations, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. If you possess a college diploma or relevant experience in farming, we encourage you to apply your skills in this dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate farm worker activities

• Enforce safety and bio-security procedures

• Maintain production records and logs

• Hire, train, and mentor new staff

• Operate farm machinery effectively

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in agricultural studies

• Prior experience in farming is beneficial

• Capacity to work in a hot and physically demanding setting

• Strong supervisory skills for managing large teams

• Willingness to work full-time on-site
