Become the Regional Manager of Apprenticeship Services with Skilled Trades Ontario, enhancing apprenticeship pathways across the region. Drive stakeholder engagement and lead a dedicated team.
This critically important role focuses on promoting skilled trades and improving the apprenticeship experience in Ontario. You will oversee the activities of Apprenticeship Advisors, ensuring excellent service delivery while fostering partnerships that support workforce development and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion STO apprenticeship programs across Ontario
• Manage team performance and service outreach efforts
• Build relationships with regional employers and training providers
• Support effective registration and certification processes
• Identify service gaps and enhance operational efficiency
Requirements:
• Proven skills in leadership and team management
• Experience in community engagement and program development
• Knowledge of skilled trades and apprenticeship services
• Ability to analyze data for service improvement
• Educational background in relevant fields or equivalent experience
