Position: Electrician Role at City

As a Certified Electrician in the Parks, Recreation & Facilities department, you will contribute your technical expertise to service and maintain all electrical operations.

Your role includes tasks ranging from installations to collaborating with colleagues, ensuring community facilities are safe and functional. Enjoy the chance to work both independently and as part of a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service all electrical equipment in facilities

• Plan installations using technical drawings

• Install electronic devices and follow safety protocols

• Complete necessary forms and reports as required

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of tools and workspace

Requirements:

• Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent

• Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) as Electrician (309A)

• Minimum five years relevant experience

• Class G driver’s license valid in Ontario

• Proven ability to communicate effectively
