• Assist technicians in the repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Perform routine cleaning and organization of the workshop and service areas to maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
• Handle and transport automotive parts and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and easily accessible for technicians.
• Support the inventory management process by tracking parts usage and assisting in restocking supplies as needed.
• Participate in the setup and teardown of workstations for various projects and service tasks.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Assist in conducting quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and customer satisfaction.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to report any issues or concerns that may arise during daily operations.
• Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the automotive field.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team culture that fosters respect and support among colleagues.
• Be adaptable to changing priorities and tasks as needed to meet the demands of the service department.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in a general labor or automotive environment is an asset but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and management.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills related to automotive service.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the service department.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

• Experience with automotive parts and tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a workshop environment.
• Previous customer service experience can be beneficial for interacting with clients.
• Certification in WHMIS or other safety training is an advantage.

• Proficiency in using basic hand tools and power tools commonly used in automotive service.
• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks effectively and maintain a clean workspace.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also being self-motivated to complete individual tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and communication purposes.

• This position is located in Tecumseh, Ontario, and may require occasional travel to other locations for training or special projects.
• The salary for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and may require assistance with visa sponsorship if applicable.
