Windsor Salt is looking for motivated Mechanical Repair Technicians to ensure operational excellence at their Ojibway Mine. Candidates must possess qualifications from an accredited Skilled Trades Ontario program (421A or 310T). The role involves work on both mobile and stationary equipment, including inspections, installations, and maintaining safety compliance on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and inspect mining machinery and equipment

• Work efficiently with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Prepare detailed reports and communicate statuses

• Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs

• Train less experienced employees in mechanical tasks

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant mechanic experience preferred

• Certification as a Class A Mechanic (421T or 310T)

• Strong ability in diesel engine troubleshooting

• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols

• Welding skills are desirable
