As a Gas Meter Reader, you will complete daily tasks with a focus on accuracy and safety. The role involves uploading and downloading route assignments, meeting Key Performance Indicators, and maintaining company standards. Your professionalism and attention to detail will be essential in delivering GTel's promise of quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete daily meter reading tasks efficiently
• Adhere to safety programs for a secure work environment
• Upload/download work assignments per utility schedules
• Report field hazards and suggest service improvements
• Maintain and update handheld devices for efficient service
Requirements:
• Valid G driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to walk long distances (15-20 km)
• General computer knowledge and good hand-eye coordination
• A clean Driver's Abstract and Criminal Background Check
• Proven customer relation skills
