Hourly Rate: $25–$30/hr

Overtime: Frequent overtime over 40 hours/week;
Saturdays at OT rate, Sundays at double time

Shift:6 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our industrial operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe systems in a safe and organized manner. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work at heights, and flexibility to travel within Ontario as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, lay out, and install or repair pipe systems according to project specifications.
  • Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using saws, cutting torches, threaders, and benders.
  • Secure pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.
  • Modify and maintain pipe systems and related equipment components.
  • Select pipe sizes, types, and related materials to meet project requirements.
  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects.
  • Drill, tap, and use hand tools as required for installations.
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and assembly.
  • Conduct test operations to ensure systems are properly installed and functioning.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform daily housekeeping of equipment.
  • Follow all workplace health & safety regulations and Ontario OHSA standards.
  • Document work completed and submit job sheets to the reporting manager weekly.
  • Perform other duties as required to support projects.
Requirements
  • 3 yearsof pipe fitting experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of on-the-job training, apprenticeship, or technical training from an accredited Canadian college is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and adapt quickly to project requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
