Plant Machinery Field Service Engineer

Use plant machinery repair and maintenance expertise as a Field Service Engineer serving customers around Waltham Abbey, Essex. Travel from home is required.

Scot JCB seeks a skilled plant engineer for its growing field engineering team. The work covers construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and electronic diagnostic fault finding. You will support customers directly while completing depot inspections and repairs when required.

• Repair and maintain machines at customer sites
• Complete daily paperwork on a phone or tablet
• Submit timesheets and job cards accurately
• Order parts and coordinate with the parts department
• Inspect and repair machines at the depot

• Construction Plant Maintenance qualifications such as City and Guilds, NVQ, or SVQ
• Experience with plant machinery repair and maintenance
• Knowledge of diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, and transmissions
• Electronic diagnostic equipment and fault-finding experience
• Willingness to travel and work independently
