The Senior Commercial Overhead Door Technician performs maintenance, installations, and complex troubleshooting on commercial door equipment. This hands-on role includes technical leadership, mentoring junior technicians, and supporting quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Work covers overhead doors, loading docks, truck restraints, dock seals, high speed doors, and hollow metal doors.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform advanced inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
- Lead complex and escalated commercial door troubleshooting
- Install and replace operators, controls, and specialized hardware
- Review work orders, materials, and repair strategies
- Document service, deficiencies, and corrective recommendations
- Minimum five years commercial overhead door experience
- High school diploma; trades training preferred
- Advanced mechanical, electrical, and automated systems knowledge
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Availability for shifts, on-call work, and emergencies
