Industrial spray painting expertise meets steel construction work at Walters Group’s Princeton Facility, with a scheduled afternoon shift from 12:00PM to 8:30PM.
As a Painter, you will prepare and coat steel pieces according to drawings, finish codes, and project specifications. The work requires air assist painting experience, industrial paint knowledge, blueprint interpretation, and overhead crane operation. You will also complete readings, records, and equipment cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:- Read finish code front sheets for paint requirements
- Block out materials according to drawings
- Mix and spray paint for project requirements
- Paint pieces using specified mills, techniques, and equipment
- Operate cranes and move materials safely
- One or more years of painting experience
- Experience with air assist painting equipment
- Knowledge of industrial paints and spray equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to operate overhead cranes
