As a key member of the Operations team, you'll help shape health and wellness outcomes for people around the world.

The Electrician is responsible for supporting maintenance of the facility and the production equipment. Completing tasks in a safe and efficient manner to support the reduction of downtime on equipment and minimize the disruption to production and the facility in general is a top priority.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation equipment in packaging, tabulating, blending, coating, and building systems as required.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system functionality.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Document preventative maintenance, repair work and spare parts to facilitate SOP requirements.
• Installing and maintaining the facility and equipment, electrical wiring, electrical panels, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Assist where necessary in other maintenance functions throughout the facility.
• Maintain equipment in maintenance shop.
• Practice safe health and safety practices when performing job responsibilities.
• Working in compliance with the company' s Health & Safety Policies/SOP's including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure.
• Will comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Jamieson Laboratories Ltd. Facilities
• Assist where necessary in other maintenance functions throughout the facility.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

You bring curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to do meaningful work. You may bring experience in:

• O.S.S.D or equivalent
• Dual ticket as a 433A and 442A/309A would be highly desirable
• Certificate of Apprenticeship
• Demonstrated hands on experience and skills for troubleshooting and repairing different types of equipment in a fast-paced multi-skilled automated manufacturing/industrial environment, including PLC, VFD, Robots, and industrial automation equipment.
• Ability to read equipment drawings and equipment manuals.
• Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Available to work three shift operation and required overtime.
• Good communication skills with all levels of employees
