Greenhouse Equipment Maintenance Technician

Greenhouse equipment maintenance is central to this Mucci Farms position in Kingsville, Ontario. Work onsite during a full-time afternoon shift supporting facility equipment.

Maintenance Technician II supports safe, orderly operations throughout greenhouse, packhouse, automated material-handling, and general facility areas. You will conduct maintenance, repair breakdowns, optimize equipment and systems, and document work through preventive maintenance software. Success requires machinery experience, safety procedures, clear English communication, and the ability to prioritize changing business needs. The schedule runs 5pm to 2am, six days a week, with potentially extended hours, Sunday or holiday shifts, and on-call work.

• Maintain greenhouse facilities, conveyors, fans, sealers, and machinery
• Rapidly troubleshoot breakdowns and restore equipment to service
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, skyjacks, tools, and vehicles
• Communicate machinery breakdowns, material concerns, and shortages
• Assist with technician training and technical knowledge development

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical college diploma or apprenticeship preferred
• Three-plus years of related experience required
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems knowledge
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
