Certified substitutes are for those who hold a teaching license or a one, three, or five-year sub license.

Dates: 09/08/2026–12/18/2026

Certified Substitute Rates
  • Full day substitute (more than 4.25 hours): $152/day
  • Half day substitute (2 - 4.25 hours): $76/day
  • Assignments of 2 hours or less: $40/day
  • 11-19 Days of continual assignment: $182*/day
  • Long-Term Sub (20 days or more of a continual assignment): $240*/day
  • Long-Term Sub - Weld RE-4 retired teacher (20-days or more of continual assignment): $255*/day
  • Current teachers covering in lieu of substitutes during plan time: $31/hour
  • ESY Substitutes: $24/hour
  • Substitutes who are not notified of a cancellation and show up to the school: $20
  • Required Training (Minimum of Range 4 on the Classified Schedule): $15.40/hour
