Provide oversight and instruction for CPAT orientations, practice sessions, and final exams.
Job Duties- Responsible for the overall conduct and safety of skill evaluation areas
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of the examination
- Maintain strict security of all examination-related items throughout the examination
- Ensure that equipment used for the exam is in operable condition
- Use CPAT skill sheets developed by the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) to evaluate the students
- Assist the exam coordinator with the set up and tear down of the skill testing stations
- Adhere to college and IAFF policies and licensing requirements to evaluate the candidates
- One (1) year firefighting experience or Peer Fitness Trainer certification
