- Assist regular and/or special education teachers in attaining educational goals for students and maintaining a safe and comfortable learning environment.
- Reinforce curriculum, activities, and skills with groups or one-on-one and collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and determine appropriate modifications or accommodations for individual students.
- Supervise students in various school locations and activities; monitor student behavior and safety; implement discipline and emergency procedures as needed.
- Assist the teacher with clerical and organizational duties as needed.
