About the RoleHello ECSE Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher to support preschool students in Windsor, CO. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an educator who loves working with young learners and is passionate about helping children build strong foundations in communication, social-emotional development, early academics, and adaptive skills.
You'll collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized instruction and early intervention services that make a meaningful impact during these critical developmental years.

- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for preschool-aged students
- Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction that supports communication, social-emotional, adaptive, and pre-academic skills
- Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment for young learners
- Support students with a variety of developmental delays and disabilities
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and educational staff to promote student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and positive behavior supports
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement
- Early Childhood Special Education endorsement preferred
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting young learners and their families
- School-based experience preferred but not required
