Dunamis Energy is seeking a full-time Lead Lease
Operator for its downtown Denver location.

This position will operate out of our Windsor, CO field office with field locations in the surrounding area.
RoleDescription:
The Lead Lease Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of assigned oil and gas production facilities, wells, tank batteries, and associated equipment. This position monitors and optimizes production performance, troubleshoots operational issues, performs routine inspections, coordinates maintenance activities, and ensures compliance with company safety and environmental requirements. The Lead Lease Operator also serves as a senior field resource, providing technical guidance, training, and operational support to Lease Operators while assisting the Foreman with communication and coordination of field activities.
Responsibilities:- Serve as an experienced field resource for Lease Operators by providing mentorship, guidance, knowledge sharing, and operational support.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new and less experienced Lease Operators on company procedures, equipment, safety practices, and field operations.
- Provide technical troubleshooting assistance, help implement new procedures, and share best practices to promote safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Assist Lease Operators with work prioritization and day-to-day support in coordination of field activities and communication between Lease Operators, contractors, and Operations leadership.
- Assist the Foreman in identifying operational issues, training opportunities, potential LOE savings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and optimize production from assigned wells, facilities, and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of wells, tank batteries, separators, compressors, and related production equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report mechanical, operational, production, and environmental issues.
- Perform minor maintenance and coordinate repairs with vendors, contractors, and support personnel.
- Record and report production data, equipment performance, downtime events, and field observations.
- Maintain accurate operational records, record site and well data, and complete required reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe wellsites and facility locations.
- Support workovers, facility projects, equipment installations, and other field operations activities.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental, and operating procedures; promoting the company’s commitment to develop energy in ways that support strong communities, protect the environment, and contribute to Colorado’s long-term prosperity.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to operational emergencies as required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 7+ years of oil and gas production operations experience required.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and operate with limited oversight.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in production operations, troubleshooting, and field best practices.
- Understanding of oil and gas production operations, facilities, and production equipment, including various forms of artificial lift: plunger lift, gas lift, rod pump.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office:
Outlook, Word, Excel - Ability to identify and resolve routine operational and mechanical issues.
- Understanding of production reporting, measurement, and field data collection.
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
