Rehab Technology Supplier
The Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS) plays a crucial role in evaluating, recommending, and providing customized Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) to meet the unique needs of our clients. This position involves working closely with clients, families, therapists, and physicians to ensure the appropriate equipment is provided to maximize independence and enhance quality of life. A strong understanding of clinical conditions and extensive knowledge of rehabilitation equipment are essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, delivering and fitting of equipment, collaborating with customers and professionals to formulate recommendations for appropriate assistive and complex rehab technology equipment, meeting productivity goals, growing relationships with potential customers and referral sources, maintaining eligibility status with various vendor systems, keeping abreast of funding requirements and technological advances within the Rehab Technology industry, utilizing Numotion Leadership Principles to perform the job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion's mission, adhering to employee or customer confidentiality and complying with Numotion's policies and federal regulations, and always providing excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations.
Required qualifications, skills, and experience include a Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or certification in a related field, minimum two (2) years' experience in Assistive Technology direct customer-related services or related field, and a valid Drivers License.
Preferred competencies and qualifications include attaining and applying clinical, technical and interpersonal skills in a needs analysis of complex mobility issues for individuals with various disabilities, demonstrating critical thinking, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required to generate appropriate, individualized recommendations for CRT equipment and interventions, working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment, minimum one (1) year experience working with complex rehabilitation technology, previous experience in selling DME equipment, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, responsibilities and projects independently and effectively, extensive knowledge of various clinical conditions impacting mobility, and comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation equipment.
Physical work requirements include ability to meet essential functions of the position with reasonable accommodations as necessary, frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers associated with computer equipment, prolonged periods of time working at a desk and/or on a computer, occasionally move and reach with arms and hands, ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs as needed, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to work overtime as needed.
