Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
As our maintenance technician, you will work cross‑functionally to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment. You will monitor systems for performance, safety, and reliability while adhering to established procedures. You will conduct failure analyses and respond to both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance needs. The role includes troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues, documenting repairs and modifications, and following all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production, test, and facility equipment according to established schedules
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Repair and replace components on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electromechanical equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate documentation on a daily-basis
- Conduct equipment inspections as needed
- Collaborate and communicate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations as needed to minimize downtime and improve performance
- Follow all safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), ESD, and regulatory requirements without exception
- Respond to repair requests in a timely manner
- Maintain tools, spare parts, inventory, and maintenance areas in an organized and safe condition
- Read and interpret technical documentation
- Build and install wiring in new equipment
- Perform other various maintenance duties as needs arise
- Minimum Requirement of a High school diploma or equivalent
, with additional technical training preferred (e.g., industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and software).
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance procedures
, mechanical systems, and diagnostic techniques. - Proficiency using manual and electrical tools, test instruments, and measurement equipment such as multimeters, calipers, gauges, and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work orders
. - Experience replacing mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical components.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with engineering, production, and leadership teams.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize repairs, and respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs.
- Physical dexterity and ability to lift 30 pounds, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Hiring salary range $45k-$80k, depending on education and experience; medical plan after 1 month; company 401k retirement plan with matching after 1 year; paid holidays.
