Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Position SummaryMaintenance process mechanic position supporting a Thermal Media Manufacturing operation consisting of 2 coating machines, 7 finishing slitters, and building/site maintenance.
- Work Schedule – 5 1/2-day, 12 hour rotating shift.
- Responsible for new electrical installations, and maintenance of existing electrical systems.
- Perform demand maintenance in all areas of Thermal Media MFG.
- Complete PMs, work shutdowns, generate/update procedures and prints, order and repair spare parts
- Support engineering and operations as needed.
- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance tasks, project (installation) tasks, and light fabrication tasks.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in automated equipment maintenance.
- Possess analytical trouble shooting skills driving to root cause of issues
- Work effectively under pressure, display initiative and work safely
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills to work in and contribute to an integrated operations/maintenance/staff team environment
- Experience in Chemical Mixing, Delivery, and Coating operations
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical (motors/ PLCs /drives).
- Experience with AB PLC's, PLC 5, Control Logix.
- Basic Machine Shop
Skills:
mill, lathe, surface Grinder - Basic Sheet Metal Fabrication: sheer, brake
- Problem solving/troubleshooting skills and abilities.
- Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal guidance.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Pay: $24-$30 Based on experience
