Greenhouse Operator
Salary Range $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time
The RoleGotham Greens is seeking a passionate, driven and hardworking individual to work as our Greenhouse Operator in our Greenhouse. Greenhouse Operators are hands-on and require individuals who enjoy rolling up their sleeves.
Prior experience in the natural and organic food industry is a plus, but is not required. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organized individual to assume a position at a rapidly growing, innovative, disruptive company in the 21st century food system.
What You'll DoStart up and shutdown of TTA
- Basic troubleshooting of all unit ops
- Accurate completion of all Operator tasks and documentation.
- Minimize downtime during breakdowns and changeovers.
- Stock Raw Materials after shutdown and as needed to complete production.
- Basic sanitation tasks, as needed or requested, to keep equipment clean and operational.
- Basic troubleshooting of TTA equipment.
- Communicate clearly and operate lines with a sense of urgency.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Authorized to work in the US
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Maintain a steady pace with attention to detail
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Open availability to work various work schedules, including holidays and weekends
