Nurse Practitioner | RIA Endovascular - WindsorReporting to Clinical Lead IR
Employment TypePart‑time, hourly, on‑site. No weekends or call required.
Responsibilities- Perform daily rounds on inpatients, write notes at time of assessment, and maintain clinical rounding reports.
- Review each case with Interventional Radiologist.
- Complete patient notes with pertinent findings (vitals, access site evaluation, lab results, other X‑ray studies, plan).
- Manage same‑day admits: see patient, review labs, dictate admission H&P.
- Communicate with radiology staff and clinic staff to provide patient information, procedure details, and follow‑up information for IR patients requiring outpatient follow‑up.
- Gather data (labs, physical exam, history) on new patient consultations and complete dictation of consultation on the same day it is ordered.
- Assist with IR marketing projects, including identifying targets, developing marketing tools, and attending events.
- Assist with IR research studies by enrolling patients and gathering pertinent data.
- Ensure patient follow‑up appointment is arranged prior to discharge and dictate discharge summary the same day.
- Perform minor procedures such as line removals, drain removals, and G‑tube removals.
- Assist in education of staff as applicable.
- Maintain credentialing and privileges at all covered hospitals.
- Perform all duties within the scope of practice dictated by the professional license.
- Provide documentation and demonstrate training and competence for specific services when required.
- Maintain values congruent with the Code of Ethics and institutional policies regarding standards of care.
- Perform consultations with new patients for chronic pain management and inpatient interventional procedures.
- Educate patients regarding possible procedures, including risks, benefits, and alternatives.
- Manage medications pre‑ and post‑procedure.
- Perform follow‑up office visits after inpatient and pain management procedures.
- Perform sclerotherapy, including ultrasound‑guided foam and cosmetic sclerotherapy.
- Perform minor procedures such as spinal cord stimulator lead removal, pain pump refills, and minor pain injections.
- Review follow‑up imaging and formulate treatment plans with interventional radiologist.
- Assist with IR research studies and outpatient follow‑up data collection.
- Communicate with referring providers regarding treatment plans and patient care management.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an NP or PA; radiology experience preferred.
- Experience with IVs and minor procedures.
- Exceptional patient skills.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute from hospitals and clinic; requires a valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record; company will run annual MVR.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- ACLS certification or ability to obtain.
Annualized salary: $61.06–$64.66 per hour depending on qualifications.
The range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation. This position will remain open until filled.
