Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Roofing Sales Associate role based in Littleton, CO. The Roofing Sales Associate will prospect and generate leads, conduct roof inspections, and meet with residential and commercial property owners to assess needs and present tailored roofing solutions. The role includes explaining roofing options, materials, and timelines, preparing estimates, and guiding customers through the insurance claim process when applicable.
The associate will maintain accurate records in the CRM, follow up on open estimates, and manage a personal sales pipeline from initial contact to signed contract. Daily responsibilities also include collaborating with project managers and crews, attending team meetings, and representing Colorado Preferred Roofing professionally in the community.
- Proven skills in outside sales, customer relationship management, and consultative selling in a service‑oriented environment.
- Ability to perform basic roof inspections, read or learn roofing scopes, and understand common roofing systems and storm damage indicators (training provided as needed).
- Strong communication, active listening, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, straightforward language.
- Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, including managing a sales pipeline, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Comfort working in the field, including climbing ladders and safely accessing roofs in a variety of weather conditions.
- Experience with insurance claim processes for property damage is a plus, especially working with adjusters and documenting damage.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, spreadsheets, and CRM or sales tracking tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, construction, or a related field is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Motivated, goal‑oriented approach with a commitment to ethical sales practices and excellent customer service.
Competitive salary first year $65k - $120k plus benefits
