Mobile Fleet Technician

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers' commercial tractors and trailers.
• Write detailed work orders; work mobile road calls and/or in yard.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi-trucks and trailers.
• Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required.
• Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
• Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
• Ensure trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management.
• Respond promptly to client queries.

• 5+ years of verified experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
• Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks.
• Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders.

• Experience with welding; certification is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree is a plus.
• Class A CDL.
• Your own tools.

• Monday–Friday schedule with rotating on-call.

We also have technicians serving customers in Indianapolis, Cleveland, Louisville, and Nashville.
