Pay: $28 – $32 per hour depending on experience, certifications and qualifications.

Summary:

Candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience and hold a current state issued Class A CDL Driver’s License. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test. All candidates will perform a skills verification test on site before hire.

• Load and unload cargo.
• Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
• Take orders for new deliveries and drive long distances.
• Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.
• Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
• Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Inspect trailer before and after the trip and record any defects found.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
• Keep a log of activities.
• Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order.

• Must have a current state issued Class A CDL Driver’s License.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.

• Ability to interpret, read manuals, and write reports in English.
• Mechanical and analytical skills preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to provide proper hand signals to crane and truck operators.
• Ability to verbally communicate safety issues to customers and other workers on location before and during job tasks.
• Ability to work at heights and use all PPE required for fall protection correctly.
• Ability to employ physiological movements and actions associated with heavy work.
• Physical requirements:
  
  lifting 75 lbs., twisting, crawling, climbing, squatting, kneeling, sitting, standing. Bending, stooping, lifting, seeing hearing, walking.
• Eyesight sufficient for operating a motor vehicle, inspection of equipment, and completion paperwork.
• Hearing sufficient for telephone contact and interpersonal communication with customers and coworkers.
• Other duties as assigned.
