This is a full-time role supporting the financial management of a large-scale data center construction project
. The Construction Site Controller will play a key role in cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
, working closely with project leadership to provide accurate and timely insights into overall project performance.
The position is fully on-site.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage project budget setup, cost coding, and ongoing cost tracking
- Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Monitor cost performance, identifying variances and potential risks
- Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to align financials with field progress
- Support subcontractor financials, including commitments and pay applications
- Track and manage change orders, ensuring accurate cost impact reporting
- Maintain visibility into committed, actual, and forecasted costs
- Assist with procurement and commitment tracking
- Support month‑end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal financial processes and documentation standards
- Coordinate with corporate finance and accounting teams as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction cost control, project accounting, or project controls
- Experience supporting large-scale construction projects (data center or mission‑critical preferred)
- Familiarity with construction contracts, billing, and cost structures
- Experience with systems such as Procore, SAP, Oracle, or similar
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to work on‑site as required, especially during initial project phase
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Solid financial and analytical capabilities
- Clear communication across teams and stakeholders
- Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Close collaboration with field teams and project leadership
