KBW Financial Staffing & Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established organization in Hartford County, CT seeking a bookkeeper to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain exposure to both accounts payable and accounts receivable in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, cash applications, and reconciliations.
• Assist with vendor and customer account maintenance, payment discrepancies, reporting, and month‑end close activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with company policies, and provide general administrative support to the Finance team.

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of accounting, AP/AR, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation: $24.50-$30.00/hour, depending on experience

Monday-Friday | 8:15 AM-5:00 PM | Fully Onsite
