Accounting Manager

Salary : $125,000 annually

Our client, a global organization within the Greater Hartford area, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their organization that is experiencing accelerated growth!

• Build the framework, don’t inherit it. You’ll help design, document, and improve processes as new systems, integrations, and tools are rolled out. Greta visibility for suture succession!
• Real ownership and visibility. Your work directly supports leadership, growth decisions, compliance, and controls. This is not a heads‑down, transactional role.
• Systems + integration mindset. As the company implements new integrations, you’ll help stand up processes, reconcile data, and ensure controls stay intact—not just export data to Excel and move on.

• Provide leadership to the accounting team; review Jes, recs, intercompany, lead and mentor the team.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly and year end close process in a multi-entity environment.
• The Accounting Manger will be tasked with developing and implementing new processes and procedures, creating efficiencies in workflow and strategize for continued growth.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with GAAP
• Analyze trends, variances and operational results. Ad-hoc analysis.
• Work cross functionally to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting accuracy
• Additional duties as assigned.

• BS Accounting
• Strong Leaderships skills with prior experience in leading and mentoring a team.
• Demonstrated experience with creating processes, efficiencies, any integration experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced growing environment.
