On behalf of our client Pero Corporation, we are looking for an experienced Office Manager & Sales Support for their Windsor, CT Office. This key position will provide high level sales and administrative support to our customers, vendors, the Pero Corp Team and the German based parent company. In addition the Office Manager will be in charge of scheduling and keep the team of Field Technicians running.

Job DescriptionManage day-to-day office tasks and support the Sales and Services team in-house by carrying out the following responsibilities with professionalism, confidentiality, and courtesy:
Responsibilities- This role will have commercial responsibility and work closely with the local team of technicians and distribution partners. In addition, they will act as the central point of contact with the Pero AG management in Germany.
- Serve as point of contact for sales projects and their control and follow-up; handle customer database, record leads and project follow-up in our CRM.
- Prepare reports and other complex documents using Word and Excel.
- Support sales of spare parts and machines.
- Manage and perform all administrative tasks for the office, including preparation for accounting, ordering supplies, writing invoices, preparing travel expenses, reconciling bills/invoices and cooperating with our CPA.
- Support for local marketing efforts, e.g., mailings by post or email, telephone acquisition.
- Proofread department written communications such as offers and letters; handle confidential documents.
- Maintain and promote positive and professional working relationships with customers, vendors and management.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate all company events and meetings, manage calendar; assist with travel arrangements.
- Screen incoming phone calls and correspondence and respond independently as required.
- Associate Degree or a combination of equivalent related experience and education.
- Minimum three years’ experience in an administrative capacity and working with senior management
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong team orientation.
- Strong organizational as well as project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize assignments, structure and document workflows, manage time, work independently, and problem solve.
- Basic knowledge of Quick Books.
- German language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
