Job Summary

Collaboratively manage defined end‑to‑end projects for multiple customers that impact all areas of the organization. Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope, provide detailed reporting to customers and internal departments, and present status updates to clients daily. Serve as a leader within the department to maintain a professional workplace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage defined projects for permanent services from customer order through billing including new customer implementations, contract renewals, existing customer projects, and de‑implementations.
  • Interact with clients, sales, and other departments to understand client scope and requirements, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Serve as Project Manager for all implementations and de‑implementations, managing, tracking, and reporting all progress, and providing assessment and recommendations to sales, clients, and management.
  • Work cross‑functionally with vendor relations, WM Market Areas, and WMCS to procure, implement, execute, and invoice services accurately to clients.
  • Create and execute project plans and reporting for all projects; provide required reports to management, sales, and clients.
  • Manage internal processes and teams to ensure timely project initiation and completion, and communicate risks.
  • Analyze data to create vendor bid documents for procurement of services, ensuring proper margins.
  • Lead meetings with employees, sales, and external customers/vendors to track progress against critical path dates and dependencies.
  • Assist with special projects within Launch or cross‑functional teams as required.
  • Work independently to meet timelines and deliverables.
  • Deliver on time and within scope to internal and external clients.
  • Present project deliverables to clients and explain results.
  • Communicate standard processes to internal and external clients; assist sales in managing client expectations.
  • Provide issue mitigation and resolve escalations.
  • Lead and influence other teams to ensure deliverable timelines and requirements are met (no direct supervisory duties).
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Sustainability Accounting, Environmental Science, or a related field; or, in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) with 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a project management role (in addition to education requirement).
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
  • Six Sigma Certification.
  • Experience with environmental services or sustainability projects.

Position may require travel by air for business reasons; candidate must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL  TSA‑approved alternative.
