PNK Group is seeking a Surveyor / Field Engineer to support construction projects and perform field surveying, layout, verification, and as-built work throughout various stages of construction.
This is a hands‑on field position for someone with practical construction surveying experience and strong knowledge of surveying equipment, construction drawings, and site layout.
Responsibilities:- Perform construction layout and field surveying for grading, utilities, foundations, roads, curbs, retaining walls, and other site elements.
- Establish, verify, and maintain control points and benchmarks.
- Perform cut/fill checks and verify elevations, slopes, dimensions, and locations against project drawings.
- Conduct layout for underground utilities, drainage systems, manholes, pipelines, foundations, columns, and other structures.
- Perform surveying during mass grading and final grading operations.
- Collect field measurements and prepare as-built survey data.
- Verify completed work for accuracy and compliance with construction plans.
- Maintain accurate field records, coordinate data with project teams, and document changes.
- Work closely with project engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other field personnel.
- Maintain and properly operate surveying equipment.
- Associate degree, technical education, or bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience on construction projects.
- Hands‑on experience with surveying equipment.
- Experience with GNSS/GPS equipment such as Trimble or Topcon.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Understanding of coordinate systems and construction surveying principles.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in an active construction‑site environment.
- Russian language skills are a plus.
$70,000–$85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule:Full-time
Work Environment:Construction sites; travel to project locations may be required.
