Part-Time Tutor; SPARK

Tutor Position

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher.

Tutor's Responsibilities:

• Implement students goals and objectives as in accordance with IEP and Special Education Case Managers of the Off Site Programming at LPW
• Utilize appropriate instructional materials
• Provide instruction and support to students assigned
• Progress monitor student performance on online credit recovery program
• Assist with assessments (classroom and district-wide)
• Communicate progress to program staff
• Other duties as assigned by Pupil and Special Education Services and/or Dean of Students
• Provide behavior support/implement behavioral support plans
• Support students with social emotional needs
• Support students attending the district's expulsion program
• Experience working with students in an alternative/self-contained setting preferred and/or demonstrated ability to make connections and provide academic support for such students
• Successful completion of college level coursework or passing of examination as required by the No Child Left Behind Act

Schedule:

Hours 9:15am - 2:45pm
