Position: Planner / Scheduler III/IV (2544, 2523, 2516)

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler/Planner to support large-scale projects in the power industry. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in developing, maintaining, and managing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders, to ensure accurate scheduling, tracking, and reporting of project progress.

Must Have Qualifications
  • 8+ years of scheduling experience in a high-volume, high-touchpoint project environment
  • Experience with in the steam, nuclear, or gas power industry
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Primavera P6, including:
  • Managing 1500+ task schedules
  • Scheduling, planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource management, cost estimation, and risk analysis
  • Proven experience maintaining and reporting schedule updates (internal & external stakeholders)
  • Prior exposure to construction site environments beyond scheduling (e.g., Project Manager, Superintendent, Cost Controls)
  • Prior nuclear site badge access within the last 5 years is a strong plus
  • U.S. Citizenship required (no dual citizenship due to site access requirements)
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Interpret construction drawings, estimates, and contracts to build accurate schedules
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather and integrate project data
  • Analyze timelines, identify risks/delays, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Track project progress and update schedules based on scope, resource, and timeline changes
  • Prepare and present reports (progress updates, critical path, variance analysis)
  • Ensure alignment of schedules with overall project goals
  • Coordinate with procurement and resource teams for material and workforce planning
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and adjustments
  • Provide guidance and training to construction teams and junior schedulers
