Position Responsibilities- Study project requirements, process planning, scheduling deliverables, and formulate thorough presentations such as conceptual design reviews and detailed design reviews of the task.
- Prepare CAD models and electrical schematics for components in accordance with the client’s SOPs and practices.
- Support client in BOM creation (including parts, ECOs and ECRs) for engineering release and ECNs for engineering changes, and follow up with departments for release through PLM.
- Manage component obsolescence, material selection, and standardization of electrical parts.
- Perform cost and value analyses of the concept.
- Review design quality, including major technical drawings—assemblies, installation, and general arrangements.
- Coordinate ECOs and ECR activities per manufacturing customer standards and processes using PLM tools.
- Review and provide feedback on engineering changes created by other engineers to support the engineering change board’s approval.
- Understand and familiarize with the customer’s product and process requirements and train the delivery support team accordingly.
- Handle critical tasks such as safety issues and field issues, prioritizing safety and manufacturing field issues to avoid losses in terms of man, machine, and financial.
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of related experience (or educational experience).
- Demonstrable knowledge of Power Systems Design and Analysis.
- Knowledge of Rotating Equipment Analysis.
- Knowledge of Hazardous Area Compliance.
- Knowledge of Grounding and Lighting Protection.
- Knowledge of Signal Conditioning and Data Acquisition.
- Knowledge of Calibration and Loop Checking.
- Knowledge of Process Control.
- Knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems (IEC 61511 compliance).
- Knowledge of Electrical Testing.
- Knowledge of Instrument Diagnostics.
- Knowledge of VFD setup and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Standards and Compliance (IEC, IEEE, ISO 50001).
- Knowledge of Corrosion and Mitigation Standards.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% to client locations within the U.S.
