Quality Engineering, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing and repair operations
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, CAAC, customer, and QMS requirements
- Develop and improve quality procedures, processes, and documentation
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions using tools such as 8D and 5 Whys
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits, including AS9100/AS9110 compliance
- Monitor and improve quality metrics, including nonconformities, escapes, and inspection findings
- Partner with Engineering and Operations on process improvements, new repair capabilities, and engineering changes
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing and/or FAA Part 145 environments
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100/AS9110 standards, and quality systems
- Experience with OEM technical publications and audit processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality analysis tools such as Minitab
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certification preferred
