· Conduct advanced FEA simulations on various mechanical components and systems
· Build, develop, validate, and implement simulation models and algorithms
· Analyze and interpret simulation results to support design decisions and identify areas for improvement
· Post-process results to determine if products meet customer requirements
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations accurately reflect product behavior
· Mentor and guide junior FEA engineers, as needed
· Keep up to date with the latest industry developments and emerging simulation technologies
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
· 1-3 years of experience in conducting FEA simulations
· Strong understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis
· Proficiency in using simulation software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, or NASTRAN
· Ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
· Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Pay Range: $68000 - $75000
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Windsor, CT and is considered hybrid.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
