QUOTING ENGINEER / AEROSPACE ESTIMATOR – Fairfield County, CT What if your next job put you at the center of aerospace manufacturing strategy, pricing, and production planning? We're partnering with a well-established aerospace and precision manufacturing company in Fairfield County, CT that is looking for a Quoting Engineer / Aerospace Estimator—but this is more than just generating quotes. This is for someone who:

- Wants to play a critical role in winning and supporting complex aerospace programs
You'll be:
- Reviewing RFQs, blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements for aerospace components and assemblies
- Performing manufacturability assessments for machined and fabricated parts
- Developing detailed cost estimates for materials, machining, outside processing, and production operations
- Supporting quotes and bids for major aerospace customers including Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Spirit, and others
- Collaborating closely with sales and manufacturing leadership to build accurate and competitive proposals
- Working with CAD/CAM systems to review technical requirements (CATIA experience is a plus)
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors for material and outside processing pricing
- Managing a high volume of quote activity—approximately 200 part numbers per week
- Assisting the VP of Manufacturing with estimating and quoting strategy

Ideal background:
- Experience in aerospace estimating, quoting, manufacturing engineering, or cost analysis
- Strong ability to read blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations and machining processes
- CAD/CAM experience required; CATIA experience preferred
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Someone who enjoys technical desk work and manufacturing strategy
