In this role, you'll work directly with customers on-site, playing a hands-on role in delivering advanced power automation solutions. This position offers the opportunity to travel up to 75% throughout the region, giving you exposure to a wide range of industries, technologies, and real-world applications.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $115,000 a year.

As part of this team, you'll work alongside talented engineers and technicians who specialize in leading HMI platforms, creating intuitive, visually compelling operator interfaces that leverage the latest standalone and web-based innovations.

You'll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and manufacturers, working across major OEM HMI systems, PLCs, and network architectures. We pride ourselves on offering single-point accountability and delivering seamless, cost-effective solutions-from advanced HMI development and energy management tools to complete turnkey system design and implementation.

What you'll do:

* Provide on-site implementation of Power Management and mission critical monitoring and control systems including Bright layer, Foreseer, Power Xpert, Power Net, and next generation Power Monitoring platforms

* Provide applied engineering and consultation to customers in the areas of system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, training and modification of power management, control, and mission critical systems

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR a high school diploma/GED with 3+ years of work experience with Power Management, Power Control, Mission Critical, or Building Management systems.

* Experience working with Power Management, Power Control, Mission Critical, or Building Management systems

* This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton's Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver's license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3+ years of datacenter operations experience

* Working knowledge of BAS and EPMS SCADA solutions

Position Criteria:

* Successfully complete and maintain compliance with company safety programs and policies

* Posses and maintain a valid and unrestricted drivers license

* Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings

* Commissioning of electrical equipment experience

* Experience with HMI (Human Machine Interface) software and power monitoring software packages

* Working knowledge of standard SCADA communication protocols such as Modbus (RTU and TCP/IP), BACnet (IP and MST/TP), SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP

* Strong computer skills required with Windows Operating Systems and Databases

* Strong Networking skills including the ability to troubleshoot network hardware and interfaces, including Serial, Ethernet, and Fiber

* Knowledge of power quality meters, trip units, protective relays and UPS

* Working knowledge of test equipment and diagnostic instruments for automation and power management systems

* Knowledge of troubleshooting, test and repair techniques

* Advanced understanding of the company's and competitor's automation and power management systems and services

* Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with automation and power management systems

* Ability to interface with internal and external customers, salespeople, and other team members on a technical level
