Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to provide part-time financial leadership and hands-on accounting support in Windsor, Connecticut. This Long-term Contract position will run for approximately 6-9 months and will work closely with the current finance leadership team to maintain accurate reporting, strengthen controls, and support operational continuity. The ideal candidate brings strong Net Suite expertise, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to contribute effectively in a dynamic contract assignment.

Responsibilities:

-Use Net Suite, Net Suite CRM, and Oracle Net Suite technologies to manage financial information and improve reporting visibility

- Partner with the current Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting activities and help sustain timely, accurate financial operations.

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure reporting quality and compliance.

- Support finance-related aspects of the Net Suite migration by assisting with implementation activities, validating data, and helping align accounting processes within the system.

- Develop and maintain spreadsheet-based analyses in Microsoft Excel to track trends, reconcile balances, and support decision-making.

- Monitor internal controls and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across accounting workflows.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve accounting issues, clarify financial data, and keep deliverables on schedule.

Requirements

- Proven experience serving in a Controller or senior-level accounting leadership capacity.

- Hands-on expertise with Net Suite, including familiarity with Net Suite CRM and Oracle Net Suite technologies and implementation.

- Experience supporting system implementation efforts within an accounting or finance environment.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building detailed reconciliations and financial analyses.

- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end close activities.

- Ability to work independently in a part-time contract role while coordinating effectively with existing leadership.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with close attention to detail.
