Position overview
We are partnered with a longstanding client who is expanding their team and seeking a highly detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist. This role is responsible for collaboratively managing the full lifecycle of commercial loan transactions—from borrower and attorney communication and loan structuring support, through title review, closing coordination, and post-closing servicing. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of commercial lending practices and the closing process, and can manage multiple transactions simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
This position is onsite full-time, 5 days/week.
- Review title reports and identify potential title defects—including encumbrances, mortgages, and other liens—that adversely affect marketable title.
- Review purchase and sale contracts and any associated assignments of contracts.
- Review zoning and land use information, including zoning approvals and permitting.
- Maintain operational databases and other lending platforms.
- Prepare loan closing documents and review post-closing matters.
- Assist with loan structuring and loan processing.
- Request and manage borrower documentation throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Coordinate closings with closing attorneys and borrowers.
- Complete servicing requests, including payoffs, modifications, and drafting releases of mortgage.
- 3+ years of commercial lending experience or real estate paralegal experience.
- Strong understanding of title insurance, loan documents, and the closing process.
- High attention to detail; able to manage multiple transactions in a collaborative small-office environment.

$60,000 - $80,000 (DOE) plus performance based bonuses and raises.
