We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable ADON / Infection Preventionist to help lead clinical excellence, protect our residents and staff, and strengthen our infection prevention practices.
Role Highlights:At Kimberly Hall North, the Assistant Director of Nursing – Infection Preventionist, you will play a critical leadership role by:
- Leading infection control planning, monitoring, and surveillance
- Educating and training staff on best practices
- Managing and responding to outbreaks
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting
- Driving quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting documentation and resource management
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Unencumbered RN Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of CT
- Infection Prevention certification preferred
- 2+ year's Long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of LTC State and Federal Regulations
