Job Description

The Microbiology Analyst I will support the Microbiology Department by performing environmental microbiological testing and filtration testing, along with daily housekeeping tasks in the laboratory. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the laboratory environment and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Assisting with and performing membrane filtration for sterility testing.
  • Conducting environmental monitoring, including Viable Surface, Viable Air, and Particulate Testing.
  • Performing endotoxin testing.
  • Maintaining daily logs and proper documentation.
  • Conducting sample plate enumeration and media fill reads.
  • Assisting with laboratory inventory and equipment maintenance.
  • Performing laboratory cleaning and biohazard bin removal.
  • Ensuring GMP compliance in all activities performed.
Eligibility Criteria Required For Microbiology Analyst Jobs
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
  • Laboratory experience preferred.
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to achieve and maintain gowning qualification and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently on scientific projects.
  • Scientific technical writing skills, including authoring and revising SOPs or technical reports.
