Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care, Windsor, VA, starting 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,057 to $2,141 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 days. Work setting: skilled nursing facility.

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents as clinically indicated.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication and swallowing disorders.
• Provide direct therapy, document progress notes, and update the interdisciplinary team on patient status.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to coordinate resident care and discharge planning.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and participate in care conferences.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.

• Active state licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing/acute care setting
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and work a 35-hour week
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
